Place both palms together and interlock your fingers. One thumb should remain upright; encircle it with the thumb and index finger of your other hand. While performing this mudra hold the thumb upright and erect.
Mudras are generally to be held anything between 15 – 45. More than 15 mins is to further use for curing the problem. However Linga mudra should not be practiced for longer then 15 mins, one may also perspire if practiced for longer.

If the Linga Mudra is done too long, a feeling of sluggishness and
lethargy may occur. This is a sign that you should shorten the length of this.
Those suffering from piles, fissures, acidity, high blood pressure should avoid this mudra.
